Barbara’s earlier career was rooted in the travel industry and she managed the Belfast office of a major airline for 16 years. She spent time as a manager in a variety of travel businesses before working as Personal Assistant to a number of church and educational establishments.

Barbara has a son, daughter and four grandchildren. She enjoys travelling, theatre and the arts and has been around the world three times.
