John Fielding has worked in financial services since 1984 and spent the first 12 years of his career in local banking before becoming a financial adviser. His wealth of experience dealing with many aspects of financial planning allows him to advise clients in a personal and professional manner.
John holds The Chartered Insurance Institute Diploma in Financial Planning. This meets the new professional standards being introduced on 1 January 2013 by the Financial Services Authority, who have modernised and raised the level of qualifications required advisers must have and improved how they keep their knowledge up to date.
John is married with three children. In his spare time he enjoys playing golf and running.
In October 2007, following the birth of his second daughter, John ran the Dublin marathon and raised £10,000 from generous friends, family and clients, which he matched to make £20,000 and presented to Royal Victoria Hospital Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.
His daughter had spent time in the Unit when she was born in March 2007 and this was his way of giving something back. Subsequently his son also spent time in the Unit following his birth in October 2008.
